Hamamelis virginiana Salve

Hamamelis virginiana Salve

$21.00Price

Some skin problems are uncomfortable enough without having to slather the area with a dozen questionable ingredients. This soothing botanical salve was formulated for delicate, irritated skin and the areas where you need gentle care without unnecessary fuss.

The foundation is Hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) infused into a nourishing base of coconut oil, shea butter, and beeswax. Witch hazel is rich in naturally occurring tannins and has a long history of topical use for irritated, inflamed, and uncomfortable skin. Shea butter and coconut oil provide emollient support, while beeswax creates a protective barrier that helps keep moisture where it belongs.

We've added lavender and tea tree essential oils for their traditional antimicrobial and skin-soothing properties. Together, these ingredients make this salve particularly useful for areas prone to irritation, moisture, and discomfort.

This is a versatile salve to keep on hand for diaper-area irritation, hemorrhoidal discomfort, chafed or irritated skin, and external yeast-prone areas. It can also be useful anywhere the skin needs a little extra soothing and protective attention.

For diaper rash, apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin as needed. For hemorrhoidal or other sensitive external areas, apply gently and sparingly. This product is intended for external use only. Do not apply to open wounds, internal tissues, or inside the vagina or rectum.
