Contraindications & Safety
Do not consume if diagnosed with diabetes, hypertension*, liver disorders, kidney insufficiency, cardiovascular disease, hypoglycemia, or hypokalemia.
Excessive doses can deplete potassium and cause sodium retention.
Do not use if pregnant or nursing.
May interfere with hypoglycemic or hormone therapy.
*New research shows that an alcoholic tincture may be supportive of heart conditions, but other preparations should be avoided.
