Contraindications & Safety
Skin patch test is required for topical use and should not be applied without dilution
Contraindicated for epilepsy, hypertension, gastrointenstinal inflammation, and liver issues
May cause interactions with prescription amphetamine, zoxazolamine, pentobarbital, and aminopyrine
Children under the age of ten should not use it topically
Can be diffused in 15-minute intervals up to 4 times per day for children under 10
Death and poisoning have occured with the consumption of Eucalyptus globulus in small doses. Signs of toxicity are epigastric burning, nausea/vomiting, dizziness, muscular weakness, rapid heartbeat, and feeling of suffocation.
