  • Excessive doses can deplete potassium and cause sodium retention.

  • Do not use if pregnant or nursing.

  • May interfere with hypoglycemic or hormone therapy.


*New research shows that an alcoholic tincture may be supportive of heart conditions, but other preparations should be avoided.
